Tailgaters Veasey and Hirsh

My son Bobby's Proctor football team was 8-0 and playing the CT Prep Champs, Hotchkiss at a neutral field in western Mass. I invited Doug to join us as he has recently been overseeing some business properties in North Adams which is way up in the northwest corner of the state. Of course he readily agreed and we met on a murky day in Easthampton, MA. Alas we lost to a bigger, faster team but enjoyed watching the gridiron rivalry with the original Denver Boone.

Nedballs

Recently, Ned Maher and his lovely wife, Christina, invited me over for dinner. Their neighbors, Ann Everhart, daughter of Judd and Becky Everhart, and her roommate Doug joined us.

D-Boy hosts Sully

Sully reprises 1973 visit to Milwaukee to see Dave's Dad's car collection, rounding out his road trip from Cheyenne with Experimental Aircraft show in Oshkosh and other gearhead activities in the midwest. Accompanying the Big Ass is friend John Whitehead former tour manager for Cheap Trick, the pride of Rockford, Il. Sully's brand of bullshit has actually improved with age.
Dad just turned 88 and guts it through his post-polio and other maladies.

Dury and Helen Cords

Vez,

Here is a photo of Helen (my wife) and me at our boat in the marina. The boat's name is "BETA ETA THETA" 'little imagination, and you guys can see how we came up with that name!

Art Saunders and daughter Christina

Here's a picture of Brother Saunders with his daughter Christina and the Fox 5 news anchor just before they did the Crohn's disease walk-a-thon event in NYC.  Christina was diagnosed with Crohn's seven years ago and is a devoted volunteer in fund raising efforts to help find a cure. We always knew Artie was wigged out but this disguise is over the top!

Doug Hirsh with Randy and Kathy Auen

Attached is a photo from dinner last week while I was in Denver on my way to Vail to play in a lacrosse tournament. Randy was kind enough to upgrade my ticket home to first class which was needed as I flew the red-eye. I stayed at Kathy Auen's house. Kathy was a Pi Phi and graduated in 1972.
